Canine Reproduction

Trinity Hills takes pride in our canine reproductive service where we offer state of the art techniques and a team who are passionate about the field of reproduction.

Our Reproduction Team is in the office Monday – Thursday 7:00am – 5:00pm, however we are available 7 days a week for breedings and urgent collections (with advance notice). Reproduction related questions or appointment requests should be directed to Repro@thph.ca and will be answered during regular office hours. Our reception team is available to schedule progesterone testing and emergency services (C-sections) 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.

Reproduction Services Criteria

Our goal is to partner with breeders to help to create healthy puppies, and to hopefully reduce genetic issues that can be passed from generation to generation. As a result, we do not collect or breed every dog that is presented to us.

  • We require all dogs (males and females) successfully complete breed specific health testing according to your breed’s parent club. Requirements for each breed can be found at www.ofa.org/browse-by-breed. (**We do not accept DNA testing on its own as proof of health clearance).
  • Progesterone testing will only be provided for females over 1 year of age.
